Alone in the Woods

During the dark of night
a bear frantically searches,
amongst the tall pines, in
a heavy, cold mist.
It is looking for its cubs,
who had disappeared
earlier that day, while off
playing in the woods.
There is just one problem,
the cubs are gone, never
to be seen again, they
were killed by poachers.
