Sticks and Stones 2
They say sticks and stones will break your bones, but words will never hurt you.
But these words do something much worse than that. All the insults and laughing, people saying bad things about you scar your skin and stay with you. Sticks and stones may break your bones, but at least they will heal. People around you laughing, being happy. Happy. How can you be happy when everyone around you tears you apart limb from limb? Maybe if people thought before they spoke, you wouldn’t get torn open showing what you really are. They see now that you are so scared, scared to speak, scared to care because you know you might get hurt. Only wishing for someone to be scared to loose you. Loose you, you are already lost. It’s going to take more than a cast to fix you.
