Eleven
Your times were tough,
but you laughed,
and you fought,
and you made some soufflés.
With this face,
you saw the Ponds beginning,
and you saw the Pond run dry.
You met so many,
impossible people,
magnificent creatures,
deadly angels.
You were a child, a trickster
You made us laugh,
almost as much
as you made us cry.
And when it was your turn,
and your time was ticking away,
tears leapt to our eyes,
because we needed you most.
So now,
chin boy, raggedy man, sweetie,
we promise,
we wont forget you.
Because,
when you tore your bowtie from your vest,
you tore our hearts from our chests,
and guess what, no one can fix that.
But oh, don’t you worry,
oh, don’t you cry,
cause we still remember,
why we love your bow tie.
With love
