You are my sister,
Related,
Not by blood,
But by the intertwining and weaving together of our souls,
Forming a rope,
Steadfast and strong.
Too strong to be broken,
By distance, time, or pain.
Sister, I know,
Because we've been tested,
We have been apart,
For eons of time,
During which kingdoms fell and rose anew,
During which time pain was our middle name.
Sister, we remained strong.
We define a new reality.
In which your family,
Are not simply the people,
Which are blood relatives,
But those we love.
Sister,
One day all will be family,
And everyone's soul will be intertwined with another,
By the sheer force for the love of their family.
And Sister soon,
A web of ropes will transvere continents,
The whole world will be family.
We define the reality when you accept anyone,
Anyone can be family,
The apparent bounds of blood are false,
Who would be in your family?
Sister,
You would be in mine,
The highest sister of all,
An elf of a forgotten kingdom,
We ruled together in peace and love.
Our rope is the strongest of all.
Sister,
In our family,
We are defined by not the color of our skin,
By the kingdoms to which we belong,
Or by our blood relatives.
We are defined by ourselves,
And the people we choose,
To be part of our family.
We are defined by those little quirks we have,
The mispronciation of a certain word,
Or a fear of, ugh, stinkbugs.
We are defined by our indivuality,
By our love and passion,
Sister,
We started an era of Love.
Sister,
You are in my family.
