Dream world
Absorbed in a dream
Walking on a busy street
Adults in suits talking to colleagues and good friends
Teenagers in t-shirts and ripped jeans walking a long and joking about,
A tv in a window of a store playing an ad for some cloths store
A poster advertising some rock concert
And animals scampering about
I see in front of me a world of happiness
One where no one has a single care
And everything is chattering along
But the image melts like ice in a fire
Quickly becoming something else
But no one screaming "help me"
The scene is now deserted
I see a world of loneliness
Trash blowing about on the empty street
The tv smashed and the poster turned
The sun set and the world is dark
The happiness has all been drained from this earth
And despair has taken its place
For happiness can't exist in a world
Filled with nothing
