My day outside
As I walk outside I’m hit with a sharp
and piercing fall breeze
As I continue to walk I hear the
crunch of brown dead leaves under my feet
The sun is bright, but barely provides
heat for my small body
The rush of cars go up and down the street,
but the noise gets smaller
I see a parking lot full of freezing cars
that jogged on to school so the passengers could learn more
They talk to each about the weather and how
there going to leave at 2:34 pm
I see cameras watching my direction
and recording my every move
I almost feel intimidated but almost
like a movie star
There is nothing interesting that I can see,
But when I look up I finally see it
24 kids writing the same poem as me
