This is for parents

who call us stupid and useless

"you're nothing" they'd say.

This is for parents 

who take what little "happiness"

we have and turn it into 

anger and frustration dying 

from the words they say and 

the words we cant say.

This is for parents

who act nice in front of others

but right when you get in that car its full of 

criticisms and what we did wrong 

but why can't you ever see what we do or did right?

you're voice echos it feels like i'm n a box 

with only your voice repeating negative thoughts.

This is for us,

for giving them the courage to 

take our happiness away 

for us becuase we are still here fighting everyday 

wondering if its ever going to change .
