I am from Saturday morning football games,
from Florida State game afterwards.
From church every sunday, and
the Buc’s getting wrecked afterwards.

I am from fishing after lunch everyday
and guitars that I used to play.
I’m from all nighters with my Xbox,
and lots and lots of cool socks.

I am from yearly Alabama
trips in the winter, from Christmases
so warm that we
could go to the beach.

I am from soccer practices after school,
worst sport ever invented.
From acting in the church plays, those
were the good ole days.

I’m from praying every night and devotions right before,
and Full House right before I go to bed.
I am from staying up to late
and regretting it the next day.

From trying to
help my mom bake,
from realizing I'm probably
not gonna be a chef.

I’m from bear drawings on every
notebook, journal, and binder I own.
From teachers who are the coolest cats
in the world… others not so much.
