shoes can fly
Shoes Can Fly
I feel the socks rubbing against my cheeks
As I shake,
I get startled.
I feel two quick stutter steps
And three fast pounds.
As I get crushed
Then a quick relieving feeling…
Then a lift as if I am a roller coaster
I’m scared when I realize I’m in the air,
I get through it,
But all of the sudden
I hit the hardwood gym floor.
I come off of the floor
As i feel my strings being untied
I feel empty again
I feel a wet drop of- “MMMMM Gatorade”!
Tasty gatorade.
I get tossed in the “black hole”
I hear a
As I go into a quiet sleep zzzzz
