The Potion
As I drank the potion, it tasted just like the ocean.
Sweet, Salty, Smooth.
As I walked down the hallway, a ball rolled my way.
As I stared in confusion I realized it was only an illusion.
Probably from that potion.
While walking back to my car, I stepped in some tar.
“Ew!” I say when I back away.
“This world is so messed up up,” and just then I got hit by a bus.
While up in heaven, no one is saying “Oh thank heaven.”
As I walk amoung the clouds, someone is screaming very loud.
I search where it is coming from, I hear a big loud drum.
As I listen, lights start to gleam like the stars.
I suddenly open my eyes, only to hear sighs of relief from the doctors.
Now I know, everything is not as it seems.
