You and Me
When I look into your eyes, I feel like I won a prize,
the prize of winning your car and credit card account.
Like a fat boy that’s into cake, I’m hooked on your flaws and your integrity.
The memories we share are bestowed in my iPhone,
like peanut butter and jelly, we were one.
We had our moments, but like a linebacker you came running back.
Luckily, we are stronger than a football team.
Unlike, haters that would wish to see me fail,
I see them tripping down stairs.
Growing old and discovering new adventures.
You could be the Tarzan to my Jane but lets get back to reality

I was inspired to write this piece following my recent break-up because i felt like this was how i viewed my relationship. I felt like we were with each other because we had something we both wanted. I hope people get the humor out of my piece because i didn't mean to write a heart-breaking poem. I added humor because neither of us felt bad about ending it.
