The Touchdown
There are 10 seconds left in the
Game. We are losing, 14-15.
I can
Hear the crowd as they cheer
For us
To make this play. I am as
Frantic as a snake.
Everybody gets into a huddle as the
Quarterback tells us the play.
We get
Into our positions and the play starts, i am
Feeling smart, scared, and slithery
At the same
Time. I run my route and turn
Around to see the
Ball being thrown to me, i catch
It and i run to
The end zone, i score the
Touchdown without
Anyone taking my flag. I listen
As the crowd
Roars with excitement. I hear
‘’Woohoo’’and
‘’Good Game’’ I also hear
People whistling
Loudly. The game ends,
The score 21-15.
