Running
Running
Sometimes we find ourselves running,
with words and thoughts biting at our brains.
We are running away from life,
running away from sorrow.
Or even maybe pain.
But life has so much more to offer
we still run.
We run like we are charging into a
battle but really, we are already in one.
Its all we know.
Its what we’re taught.
But they don’t care what they teach us
because they are running too!
Its all a mind game.
We run.
But the ones who stay and fight,
don’t.
We face the game.
We are what people call heroes.
But that’s not true.
They still run away.
Run away from everything.
Mistakes and flaws.
FAmily and friends.
And to think,
don’t they ever get tired?

I wonder why everyone runs away from their problems instead of facing them, so in result I wrote a poem about it.
