Artifact
Just one of those days
By: Evanay Hill
Bright sun,
a lot on my mind,
what else is there to do?
I don’t want to have conversation,
Lately, I haven’t been feeling like myself,
I bet it’s just one of those days,
I don’t want to talk,
What is there to say?
When your heart is aching,
No feeling,
Mind racing,
Phone off,
AND you just want to be lonely,
Something’s just don’t be right,
And all these things hit you at once,
What is there to complain about?
How do you fix those things?
You can’t fix anything,
Because it happened or its happening,
But it’s just one of those days
This poem is an artifact. And Poetic devices are rhyme, sensory details and personification. And this poem is an emotion poem.
