Remains of a Broken Canvas
Black, White my life is a color of scenes.
Red, Green, heartache and jealosy.
How do I find the faith to percive,
What you say is true?
Distant thoughts fill up my mind with your words
True? No! Bed, tangled sheets, looking for dawn.
Sleeping, Sighing, I can see it in your eyes
What you say is wrong.
Splashing, tearing, ripping a canvas in half.
-broken down crying-
Seeing gray though the shards of canvas glass.
But as I walk among the ashes,
Of a swiftly tilting planet,
I sing among the highest of the high.
And yet when the day is done,
I can feel the clashes, of not keeping my eyes on the prize.
So I wander on my feet and never notice,
Cry with my eyes and never feel the pain.
Wake to a new day hopeful, and still lies the monster to be slain.
