Trying to maintain my insanity
Trying to become better
It’s hard to just shut my mouth
Hard not to say what I am thinking
Complicated to keep putting myself through the pain
When you get what you want
But not what you need
You can’t sleep at night
When too much is on your mind
Confused and frustrated
Pained and heart broken
When all you want is to be happy
To be loved and forgiven
I have been taught to always be strong
and to never break down
That it shows weakness
That people can take advantage
When all you want is happiness
It seems like all you can find is suffering
When you find that little bit of happiness
Someone always seems to do anything to take it from you
Making you miserable
Taking you down
Breaking you to pieces
Tearing you apart
Making you cry
Can’t help myself but to think of the worst things possible
