The unrealistic reality

A world full of lethality,

Fingers brush away the moonlit dust

A solitary thought - Escape this world she must

In another world, memories swirled

Trapped by an ever shifting maze,

victims lost and in a daze

Upon their wake, a single goal to reach

In another world, sailors hurled

As mermaids splished and splashed

Whilst waves of night clashed

Under a glimering pool of light

In another world, prophecy unfurled

A hero wields a leaf shaped sword

Brave and tired before the titan lord

Forever by his side, stands wisdom's daughter

In another world, her ruby gown twirled

From the slums to the elite

A legend and teen prodigy meet,

A love story unrivaled

As the pages dwindle,

Her sight clouded and vision addled,

Wrenched back from sweet nothingness to this,

Unrealistic reality

In our world, spines curled

Life so short and yet...

Imagination a myth, love forgotten, and sights muddled,

Dreams, and magic no more.

Hope

  there

     is

       yet

For in other worlds.

Lies the lost magic and love of this once, brillant race.
