Time, a simple yet complicated word
Light like the lies we say
Often forgotten and neglected like words on an old book
Yet important as the letters an imprisoned prisoner gets
From his family
The thing that people beg for
When death appears at their doorstep
and wished they made better use of
while they are alive and walking on steps
When life ends
Time still goes on
It lasts forever
But not for me
When it is abundant, it is hated
When it is not enough, it is wanted
Strange yet sound
Time is unique and peculiar in its own way and day.
Time is air
Swoosh, whoosh. It whistles past and go like the wind
Before I realize it in reality
Gone forever like a coin that sinks in the sea
As I was in the fields
in the early dawn
counting the hours left.
As light comes
I thought it out
Finding the missing coin and using it wisely,
To make the dark clouds go away slowly
Eventually
Why? I asked myself everytime
That although I know this
Yet I never can quite get enough of time
Once gone, forever gone
With time gone,
Regret comes
And stays forever, never gone
