Where I'm From
I am from this town, Known for cows colleges and contentment, This quaint town where no matter where you go everyone knows everyone, I am from dancing with mom to jazz, pop and christian music, I am from church on Sundays wearing frilly dresses with my white blonde curls bopping on my head, I am from a family with love and faith so strong, I am from making lefse and swedish meatballs with grandma to putting on our annual Christmas play with my cousins, and us girls fighting over who gets to be Mary each year, I am from dedication and trying because you never know if you don’t try, I am from being homeschooled almost my entire life and leaving the comfort of that behind, I am from checking out 50 or more library books and finishing them in less than a week, I am from moving from that tiny town where everyone knew everyone to a town where no one even knew my name. I am from learning how to make friends in five minutes to then calling them my best friend soon after, I am from a background where I love to act and sing and be myself, I am from a caring place I always treat people how I would want to be treated, I am from coming out of trying times stronger than ever and knowing each day is a new day, I am from playing outside with my friends and exploring and making up games because a childhood without excess technology was the best thing ever, I am from that quaint Minnesota town, and now I am from a very dedicated high school I’m loving being a part of it. I am happy with my life, I am blessed and I am loved by God, family and my friends.
