Where I'm From
I am from the creaks and cracks of my kitchen,
To the back door that never stayed shut.
I am from the tiny house with 4 people and two dogs,
To the small town I grew up in.
I am from Nick and Becky,
To the 2 sisters that I have, Paige is 21 Miche’l is 27.
I am from the dad I never thought would love me as much as them,
To the mom who would give up the world for me.
I am from the dog hair all over the house, from our stupid bulldog,
To the scottish terrier that never stops loving.
I am from my dad’s homemade spaghetti,
To the mornings I wake up to the smell of garlic lingering through the house.
I am from a large, crazy italian family,
To the obnoxious singing, laughter, and always full of love, this is where I’m from.
