Realization
It took me a while to realize
It takes threads to sew the sutures
Of this puzzle
And open bottles completely empty
To fill your soul
With something besides loathing and doubt
And an open letter
Takes fear in order to earn courage
And sweaters in order to feel the breeze
Of the ice in your heart
And finishing to start.
Everything has a correlating opposite
To complement each other
And it is confusing
And it is heart wrenching
And it is overwhelming
But it is the truth
And it is my soul.
