I'm Finished

I was letting myself fall head over heels for something that wasn't there
Because I thought you would be there to catch me but there was nothing but air
I've fallen, I've cried, I've watched family members die
But this event truly opened up my eyes
I'm done being strong
I'm done fighting fear
I don't care anymore
I'm taking off this mask that hid me for so long
And dancing with life's song
