Friends
Friends are like an oasis in the desert,
And when you are thirsty, tired, and desperate,
They appear out of darkness,
Giving you hope to carry on.
Friends are like the majestic sun,
And when you are shrouded in darkness,
They shine glimmers of golden grand gracious light on you,
Giving you courage to trudge on.
Friends are like the sea,
Washing gently upon the dehydrated fish,
Releasing them gently into the open waters,
Giving them the ability to move on,
As they would to you.
Friends are like your right hand,
Working hand in hand with your left,
They double up when your left’s crippled,
Giving you the ability to right the wrongs,
And the strength to carry on.
Friends are like your teleport scrolls,
And when you only have an inch of health left,
They get you out of the monster’s reach,
Slaying the dragon with the sword of the brave knight,
And you do the same for them as well, saying,
“Aye, Aye, Comrades,
