Music To My Ears
No matter the distance,
I feel your presence.
You have been around for years,
We feel you through our ears.
You make my heart go boom boom,
when I’m listening to you in my room.
You help me forget my pain,
to let me feel free again.
You are always in my head,
whether night or day.
You vary in melodies and beats,
but all your sounds just make my day.
Your lyrics can be inspiring,
but at times demoralizing.
When I’m down on the ground,
You’d pick me up and give me a smile.
You somehow seem to know about my life,
of all my failures and my strives.
You help switch my negative thoughts off,
to help me achieve things I could never dream of.
Oh Music, how I wish you would stay,
because You guide me and show me the way.
There is only so much I can say,
but You must remember I would love you always.
