The Picture
The weapons have been sharpened,
and the soldiers well trained
Wielding swords and spears
of lead,
they quell their fears
and charge into battle,
ready to leave their mark on the field
On the other side of the vast white arena,
a commander is mobilising his troops
"Leave no trace", he says
With that
they calm their nerves
and charge into battle
ready to erase all opponents.
An eye for an eye,
a tooth for a tooth,
a soldier for a soldier
As the feud continues, broken nibs and rubber flesh
lie tarnishing the no man's land
If only there were peace,
the two nations could form
the perfect picture
