As I take a stroll in the park,

I wonder how we got to this day

How humans came to exist

There were the first living creatures,

one of the first to walk the Earth.

Ripping apart and intimidating others,

only to be killed by the hungry foe.

But then I ask myself

what purpose did this serve?

Then came religion,

with much convincing and persuasion,

make people trust in their ruler

and follow them in their endeavour.

But then again,

what purpose did this serve?

Then came the Renaissance,

where Science and Technology prospered.

To improve the ways and habits of mankind

and change them forevermore.

Then I ask myself again,

what purpose did this serve?

Then came war,

where people fought for justice,

or perhaps gore or when they were greedy for more.

this impacted Man greatly,

as they were taken aback with damages unsightly.

But then again,

what purpose did this serve?

As you could infer,

Early beings represent our early and negative past,

religion represents the belief we can change our ways fast,

renaissance represents the turning point in our ways and wit,

and war represents the actions we take and the impacts from it.

As we continue to grow,

and we complain about every woe,

let's forget the past,

and carry on with life

so that our days will be a blast!
