You’re worth the world to me,

and sadly you don’t realize-

I see you in all I do

when I know that you’re not there.

Your strange but winning looks

Your upward smirk of lips

It means the world to know

that you will always stay near me,

and that even when I’m gone-

You’ll still be there for all else to see.

I like to watch you struggle,

if only to make others do their best,

but often that’s not the reason-

Most times it’s because you see yourself

as not the best that you can be,

which I’ll tell you is just silly.

I love you, love you,

can’t you see?

Your flaws are only details

that make the one I know.

Thankfully you do,

as I always remind you.

But what about the others

Who don’t know the truth?

The ones that can’t see their worth,

and don’t have the reminders.

What happens to them?

So this is not for you,

-I’ve wrote you much already-

but for all else who don’t understand-

Others love them too.

Perhaps they do not say it,

Or do not seem to show it-

But not all of us are good with words,

Or choose to be a poet.

So just because the ones that care can’t show it in elaborate phrases,

Does not mean they don’t care

or love.

Just in other ways
