Waiting for you
No longer sure you're there
A phantom of my mind
In my thoughts, confined
A headache that never goes away
The desire to sleep for many days
Not even sure what I'm doing here
Losing everything I hold dear
On the verge of tears again
I don't know what to do
Music is all that keeps me sane
In the midst of all this pain
Save me from myself tonight
Open my wings and take flight
I can't stay here anymore
To leave is all I wish for
Words scribbled on a page
I'm freeing myself from this cage
