Ski Trip
September 5, 2014
As I climb higher on the hill
I start to freak out and my friend says “chill”.
I’m off the lift and ready to ski. I
sure wish I had some warm hot tea.
I’m getting so cold my teeth start to chatter.
I think to myself it doesn’t really
matter. I have to be honest I can not lie.
I really thought I was going to die.
The day is finally done.
I think to myself I really
had fun !

you did a good job at rhyming so the readers could understand the pace of this poem
