Why Phantom Lover

Why, I can but only love you in my fancies

Well You see there is nothing more exquisite than that

Here, I can own you in my wildest pieces of nightmares

And feel the torrid taming of your world as I please

For I’m certain it’s only then when I claim the right

Of molding your phantom unto my reality.

The ressurection of the sun, I shall witness—

Tomorrow. Drown with the waves of that mighty seashore

Tis’ the very place where I thought and created you

With all intensity I molded your dimension

The degrees of curves, stiffness and majestic strokes

Every moment in time I painted you in my brain.

Breathe unto me, say my name so naïve and gently

That every second shall never be stolen away

For heaven is heaven once with your sacred presence

And taste this illusion so dangerous and tempting

Must you then do kiss me with this long-contained hunger

A hope in disguise that I may kiss you real enough.

Dare caress the undisturbed edges of sanity

The only paradise where I touch you so a free

Run through the o’boundless valley of my permanence

As if you were born to rule the misty weary place.

Sing unto my ears those promising serenities

And whispher magic in the stillness of this nowhere.

Why phantom lover, my steel noble, my strong man

O why refuse, why fear Fear when with you I am home

The humming of morning breeze is such a sweet texture

Unleash the peaceful journeys to savor and celebrate

Not here in my imagination but the actual existence

Beat for me, just once and the rest shall be pure priceless.

Certainly an absurd risky move – Am guilty

For I shall wake up at one moment and loose it all

Those splendid brilliance I once planted in my daydreams

A murder to realize I lived inside my head

When another blink means you’ll never be there again

That’s when I shall close both my eyes once more – to see you. Why, I can but only love you in my fancies
