If they don't see you just keep walking. At least you have yourself.

As much as Dad tells me he loves my sister and I evenly, I know he's full of s***.
I won't let you shove lies down my throat anymore.
I'm not 5.
I don't believe you anymore.
I've read Bridget's poems.
I know all the things you taught her that you never taught me.
You never taught me to fight.
I learned on my own by getting punched in the face.
Did you even know I was bullied?
Did you know I ate lunch in the bathroom everyday by myself in the 4th grade?
Did you know I started to hate myself at the age of 9?
Did you know I got so sad that I started self harm at 13?
Do you know how much I cried when I read Bridget's poem on you teaching her to fight?
I cried my eyes out.
I just want you to love me.
To care.
To call me pal again.
To remember you taking me to Rocky's.
To remember you teaching me the beer song.
To remember dancing to country songs.
To remember our song.
I miss that damn song.
I miss it all.
I miss you.
