We Are Who We Are
I love when her fingers are intertwined with mine.
Feeling her warm embrace takes my breath away.
I love the feeling when I am with her, like nobody can touch us.
Watching the sunset together is purely magical.
Holding, Laughing, and kissing
Running my hands through her soft hair
Feeling her fragile lips against mine is beautiful
Feeling her breath when laying in bed sends shivers up my spine
Whispering secrets to each other in the darkness
Making plans for our future together throughout the day
We sound like the perfect couple
and frankly, we are perfect for each other.
But that doesn't matter because I'm a girl also
We couldn't get married if we wanted
But we are who we are and we are proudly gay.
