ungrateful
why can’t we
take some time to realize
there are people who are dying.
people who are in poverty,
while we have good health.
we have shelter, clothes, and food.
while we sit in front of our fancy laptops
and cellular phones,
there’re people without shoes.
we get upset because
we don’t have the designer clothing
that our friends have
but what about all the designer clothing we have ourselves?
clothes that are worth
hundreds of thousands of dollars.
if we had all the stuff we wanted,
everything we dreamed of,
would we really be happy?
or would we just find more things to be upset about?
think.
