Puzzle
Nothing matters at this
point.
Nothing will matter.
Everything has been for naught.
Nothing rips the heart open like a wake up call.
The thing is however..
It won't learn it's lesson.
I follow you like a Sheppard, and you lead me around like a sheep.
I yearn to please you.
To see that smile.
Was it a smile? Or had it been sewn on you?
No one cared. They stared at your exterior like hungry animals to a fresh piece of meat.
You are a puzzle, and every time a guy has hurt you, they took a piece and left. I watched you slowly turn from a marvel, to a mere fragment of the past.
You trusted me with your all. All I longed for was that one chance.
A chance to re ensemble you.
I reached for you, and for a moment I saw the girl I loved.
I saw a girl I'd do anything for.
But when I looked down at my hand..
There was a puzzle piece.
