I asked the cop who arrested me
If she liked her job,
She said yes, but not tonight,
I asked my mother if she could forgive me,
She said yes, but not tonight,
I asked God if I was going to hell,
He said yes, but not tonight,
You're probably wondering if I'm going to tell you
what I did,
Yes, but not tonight.
