A child's life
She didn't have a family
But a baby was to come
She didn't have a penny, no shelter
Just the son.
She hadn't a clue
Of how to live on
So she went to the clinic
The baby would be gone
Her name was called
And she walked to the back
She had last minute thoughts
Her breath starts to lack
It finally sunk in
To what she had planned
So she ran from the place
Belly in hand
She struggled to support her and her son
Skipping some meals would have to be done
She dozed off in an ally
Baby wrapped in rags
And awoke to some money
Carefully placed in bags
She looked around confused
And then found a letter
That said "thanks for choosing life, now things will get better"
