tapping at my window
shadows in the corners
scraping down the hallway
breathing in my closet
crawling on the ceiling
fingers at my throat
eyes from the doorway
drop the terror in my mouth, bitter metal acid burn
continually. continually.
heavy on my chest and heavier on my lungs.
suffocate.
i know youre there.
