What's invisible to the eye, the heart sees

In a sea bursting of creatures,
Your presence is perceived, yet in your light all is invisible.
Water surrounding, suffocating you,
In a place filled with sunshine, all you see is a dark, abandon, hallow cave.
You struggle for something to hold on to,
swimming to reach the surface, for that single gasp of air.
