A place with towering branches that reach for the sky
A place with viridescent leaves that glow in the sun
A place with harmonious robins that perch on the branches
A place that is as tall as the summit of creativity
A place to sit and think
A place that blows through the wind like a kite
A place that stands up to turbulent rainstorms
A place that will stay there forever more
A place that has a special spot in my heart

A place that is no longer reaching for the sky
That no longer has viridescent leaves that glow in the sun
That no longer has harmonious robins that perch on the branches
That no longer is as tall as the summit of creativity
That no longer is a place to sit and think
That no longer blows through the wind like a kite
That no longer stands up to turbulent storms
That will no longer stand there forever more

But will always have a special spot in my heart
