Thunderclouds billowing on high,
Tearing at his heart,
Pulling him farther and farther away from life,
To drifts of ashen rain,
Losing sight of future and past,
The all-consuming darkness engulfs him,
Can he lock up the darkness, throw away the key?
Let it rain down on some distant shore.
