I wish I was a cherry blossom
Then I'd be beautiful and a little serene.
I'd be celebrated and practically praised
Never once would someone look down on me
My roots would inhale sadness and exhale joy
These branches would stretch out to embrace you.
My petals would float upon the wind across the world
What I would give to be a cherry blossom tree.
