Ignition
As the smoke clears
From our battle
I try to hide my tears
I know we both regret
Everything we just said
But it doesn't change that we did
Fire that once burned
A symbol of our love
Is reduced to ash and smoke
Slowly fading away
How did something so strong
Become so weak
So bright and glowing
Now dim and gray
I look into your eyes, and underneath the pain I see love
That was so long hidden away
As a spark of hope ignites inside
A small, black coal begins to glow
Tears blinked away
As a flame ignites
Hand in hand
The fire growing stronger
Pulled in each others arms
As the flames spread
Glowing beautifully
A kiss, full of passion and love
Crackling, the fire suddenly ignites
Bigger and brighter than ever before
As we walk away wrapped in each others arms
The flames truly ignite
Reaching past the sky
Glowing so gorgeously bright
A fire that can never be extinguished
A love that will last forever
