Love and Hate
Love and hate.
The bittersweet taste of both words bring joy and misery to all who hear them.
Their unfathomable definitions hold desire for all hearts And souls untainted by sin or disgrace.
Would there be love without hate to make it bitter?
Would there be hate without love to make it sweet?
Though opposites, they both need one another to Become true feelings.
An abundance of these two feelings have engulfed our World, blocking out any other emotion.
Shutting ourselves in from the world, and those around Us.
The heavens blessed us with these qualities, but did Not intend for us to use them so foolishly, Carelessly as To the way we do.
War is a product of hate, feeding the devil’s maw with the lives of loved ones.
Sorrow is a product of love, breaking the hearts of youth where love was not meant to be.
Is this the way life was meant to be?
Full of opposites and unfillable divides between families And friends.
To live in a world where sin and death are the Supporting beams of life, is like living in Hell.
Burning alongside the souls that we have damned to Death, for the greed of our souls.
Hate is the main influence of this world, bolstered by Love, caused by love.
These feelings are balanced.
Balanced by the faith of those who think there is a way Out.
A way out of death.
A way out of war.
A way out of the shackles of deceit that hold our hearts Encumbered by the weight of the world’s Transgressions.
I believe there is a way out.
And together, we can make it there, and come out the Other side, in the light of discovery.
