There's no better feeling.
Looking out over the rolling pastures.
You can see nothing nothing but the prairie grass, swaying slightly in the breeze.
It goes on for,
Miles
and
Miles.
The desert silence.
Alone.
The wind blows softly,
Engulfing you in a hug and blowing your hair across your face.
Overhead, stars are just beginning to twinkle.
The sky blends with the ground,
Surrounding you in fates three dimensional picture.
Standing out here makes you see how small you really are.
One tiny person in this never ending landscape.
To some people this may be a feeling of distress,
But to me there is no place where I better belong then here.
There's no better feeling.

It's a poem about my favorite place. My uncles Wyoming cattle ranch.
