The night came with ardor, dark limbs entangling themselves in everything they could reach,
fitful breath caressed the moonlit waters below,
while darkness moved to cover the glow of the stars,
for this was not a night for light.

This fear came with fervor, silent whispers entangling themselves in everything they could reach,
damp palms caressed the moonlit skin,
while terror moved to cover the noise of the tears,
for this was not a night for sound.
Their demise came with zeal, cold blade entangling itself in everyone it could reach,
sharp teeth caressed the still beating heart,
while death moved to swallow the howls of their souls,
for this was not a night for life.
