I crawl into my bed at night
Tossing and turning
Coming up for air in between my tears
I gasp to catch myself
I gasp to bring myself back
I fall asleep and I wake up to you
I wake up in your grey and blue sheets
The air feels light again
The air circulates threw me effortlessly
Your room is filled with nostalgic waves
Outside your window there’s color in the world
You’re asleep drooling on your pillow like always
Talking in your sleep
Mumbling my name
Everything feels soft and I look around to feel my home
I hold onto to you like an answered prayer
I hold onto you because it was the last time id get this chance
I rub my toes on the side of your cold feet
I wrap my arms around your soft waist
My hands would climb up your chest
I can never really get a hold of you
I wake up again in my bed
No sight of you
Some heavy air and it’s dark again
Outside my window there’s a lifeless skyline
I know is not lifeless to all including you
I lay in my bed knowing you were just a dream
I lay knowing you were blocks away and I couldn’t be breathing your air or having a colorful world
I lay in my bed alone
Coming up for air in between my tears
I gasp to catch myself
I gasp to bring myself back
I fall asleep and I wake up to you
