I’ve been teaching kids fake Spanish and fake Chinese for generations
and all my poetry is the lyrics of my favorite songs backwards
You see, I don’t actually have a subconscious.
I don’t, won’t, and can’t take drugged ideas
but peer pressure does what she wants.
And my homework
was to listen to Bob Dylan
but I just
couldn’t
do it.

My computer doesn’t even have a battery it just shows me numbers and a little gas can cymbal (Have I used this line before?).
I installed two programs on my computer so that everything I do stays in the computer,
a little internet just for me! The news is bad, oh so bad.
I both send and receive emails
and all the conversations are going on and on inside all day long.

It’s diversity vs inclusion you see,
and when I write poems, my emotions are international politics.
The end of my world is sexy - plagiarized for public use.
You can download the apocalypse as many times as you want
free at death.life.love.gov/un
This is the only time I’ve ever felt normal.

But when I look in the mirror and shiver because I don’t know who I am,
I guide people through the dark of Bernal Hill and hookup with them in the contrast’s edgy sundown.
It’s romantic, but each one I pretend is someone else.
The weather is boiling; flashy twilight 24/7.

My new Hebrew class is starting up in the fall. ENROLL NOW!
