He Doesn't Notice
I sit here watching
Watching him
The way he talks
The way he walks
The things I love about him
He laughs at some random thing
Causing me to smile
He's trying to control the room
And make everyone stay calm
But no one listens
All are talking
While I sit and watch
He doesn't notice
Because he won't look at me
He doesn't notice
He's ignoring me
He found out
I have a crush
He found out
He gives me a rush
His sister says he mentioned me
And gives me a look of sympathy
I smile and say
It's all okay
He would have figured it out anyways
I just wish it would have lasted longer
The secret looks
The long deep talks
The quiet buzz I always got
Him never knowing
Me never showing
But I should've known
That he would guess
He's always been the best
At reading others
And knowing you
Just by the way you talk or move
But still I wish
That he didn't know
That I could pretend like it didn't show
Now he really won't know
How I'm feeling
Now he won't know
Because he won't see me
He doesn't notice
He won't look at me
He doesn't notice
That he's ever so slightly
Killing Me
