My Escape

Reading a book is like escaping to a different world
I grip the book with my hands
My eyes effortlessly follow the words written on the pages
As I read, I feel like I'm part of the story
A place where I can get away from my troubles
A place where I don't have to rely on my own thoughts
I can escape to somewhere new for a while
