The Power of Laughter

Once it is here, it stays for a while
But its presence with people is rare
When it’s around us, everything changes
And after, the original, dull and old
It can glue a pair closer than ever
But can also be the force pushing away
We can hear it as the rumble of a volcano
Or a pleased, petite squeak of a mouse
This wonderful blessing is laughter
Positive, powerful, controlling
Some say love and hate are strong
But with a chuckle, you will win
